What does it take to become Just Dining Furniture?
At Just Dining, our standards of quality and durability are some of
the highest in the industry. We require the best products from our
manufacturers that we can stand behind. Our customers are confident
that when they buy furniture from Just Dining, they are getting the
best in value and durability. We do not profess to sell “perfect”
furniture, as the cost would be prohibitive, but we are confident
that our products are some of the best there is to offer. A few of
the requirements that we give our manufacturers are:
• T-nut construction: This metal-on-metal construction is a
must for our tilt/swivel chairs. Wood-screws on motion attachments
can pull out of a plywood or MDF seat board. By using t-nuts on stress-points,
our chairs will last years and years.
• Dual-wheeled nylon casters: The wrong casters on a chair can
destroy a floor. Each of our motion chairs feature 4 dual-wheeled
casters. These work by distributing the user’s weight over 8
places, making it easier on your expensive flooring. These casters
are made of nylon, and do not mark up floors or pick up sand or grit
as long as they are kept clean.
• Fully welded construction: Many companies save money by screwing
together metal frames or using tack-welds (welding one spot). Unfortunately,
screws require constant tightening and tack-welds can break easily
under use. All of our metal furniture is fully welded around points
of construction. This makes the strongest bond possible, ensuring
your dinette or barstool will last.
• Doweled, glued, and screwed construction on wood chairs: All
of our wood chairs are glued and screwed for double protection against
breakage. On higher-end wood chairs, dowels and corner blocks are
added to make the chairs even more durable. These chairs can stand
up to the worst abuse, lasting 10 times longer than those discount-store
chairs.
