FAQ's
Q: Your stores are smaller than most other furniture stores. Can you
really offer so much selection?
A: We specialize only in casual dining and stools. By focusing on that
specific area, we are able to offer you the selection that larger furniture
stores just can’t handle. This gives us the freedom to b roaden
our range of styles and colors available to you, the consumer.
Q: Do you deliver? And if so, what’s the charge?
A: Yes, we deliver to all of Central Florida. The standard delivery charge
is $45*, with an additional charge for extra handling if it is a large
piece of furniture. Our highly-trained delivery people will bring your
furniture into your home and set it up for you. (*delivery charges subject
to change, consult a sales associate for delivery details)
Q: Well all we need are a couple smaller things, can I just pick them
up myself?
A: Of course! You always have the option at Just Dining to pick up the
furniture yourself. Just remember to bring along any blankets or straps
you may need, as our store staff cannot provide them for you. Also, because
of liability reasons, our Just Dining team will not put the furniture
in the vehicle for you. So just make sure you bring along some help.
Q: Ok, I think I can handle picking up my own furniture. But will I have
to assemble it?
A: Absolutely not. With the exception of table legs or pedestals (which
are removed for ease of mobility), you will never have to put any chairs
or stools together. At Just Dining we feel that you should not have to
spend your hard-earned money on furniture to have to assemble it.
Q: I need bar stools, but I don’t know which ones fit my counter.
How can I tell?
A: Bar stools are made in two standard heights; just as counters are.
The height of your sink is usually around 35" or 36". So if
your counter is the same height as your sink, you need a counter-height
stool which runs between 24" and 26" to the seat. If your counter
is higher than your sink (40"-42") then you will need bar-height
stools. These are between 29" and 31" to the seat. Space-wise,
it is a good rule of thumb to allow at least 25" of counter length
per stool. So if your counter is 60" long and higher than your sink,
you should be able to accommodate two bar-height stools.
Q: I have looked around your stores and I just do not see what I’m
looking for! What can I do?
A: If you can’t find it, ask! If you can describe it, we will help
you find it. And even if it is something we cannot get (which is rare),
we can make suggestions on where you might find it. We are here to help
you find everything you need, not try to sell you something you don’t.
Q: Your prices seem a little higher than some other stores. Why is that?
A: As a specialty store, we are able to provide you with selection and
quality that you cannot find anywhere else. Furniture may look similar,
but there are differences in construction, quality, workmanship, and materials
that make a huge difference. Every automobile on the market has four tires
and an engine, but there are certainly differences when it comes to price
and quality. When you buy a new car, you buy the best quality you can
afford. Why shouldn’t it be like that with everything? If you buy
cheap furniture, you get cheap furniture. At Just Dining, you get the
best price for the quality that we can give you, every day. We are so
confident that our prices are the lowest. We guarantee it. Ask a sales
associate for details.
Q: So do you ever have sales?
A: Never. Sales are gimmicks used by stores to make you feel like you
are getting a deal. Most furniture stores simply add onto the price they
want to sell it for and then make you think you are saving a bunch of
money. At Just Dining, we would never do that to our customers. Just compare
our prices with other stores’ “Sale” prices and see
for yourself! Occasionally, we mark down floor samples to make room for
new items or because of a cosmetic defect in the product. When we do this,
you can be assured you are getting a very rare and special buy on quality
furniture.
Q: What are your payment plans?
A: We do not offer financing of any kind. We accept Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, Personal Checks, and cash. When you special order and item,
we require you to only put 50% down at the time of your purchase, with
the remaining balance to be paid upon delivery or pick-up of your new
furniture.
Q: I’m afraid of getting fabric upholstery on my new chairs because
they may get stained, but I’m not too keen on vinyl either. What
should I do?
A: We offer Fabricoate? protection at an additional charge on any fabric
you purchase from us. This special protection makes the fabric easy to
clean and maintain and is backed by a 10-year warranty against food-based
stains. Ask your sales associate for more details and a demonstration.
Q: So do I have to special order everything? How long does that take?
A: The average ordering time is 8-10 weeks to have the furniture made
specifically for you by the manufacturer. This may seem like a long time,
but we feel there is a great deal of difference between getting something
you know will work great, and settling for something that may or may not.
Q: I don’t have that kind of time. Can you put a rush on my order?
A: If time is a factor, we have almost $1 million worth of furniture in-stock
for you to purchase immediately. In-stock furniture can be taken with
either you the same day if it is in the store, or we can usually deliver
it to you with a week. We are committed to serving our customers, and
do everything we can to get your new furniture to you as quickly as possible,
whether it is a special order or not.
Q: I hate shopping for furniture because of pushy salespeople. Why should
I shop at your store?
A: We are committed to getting you what you want and need, instead of
just trying to sell you anything. Our sales associates are dedicated to
finding exactly the right furniture for your home. That requires us to
ask a lot of questions in order to get a feel for what furniture will
work the best for you. If you are of the mentality that “you’ll
know it when you see it.” You will very seldom find it, or waste
a lot of precious time looking for it. By asking questions, and showing
you examples, our sales associates will make your buying experience easier
and quicker. If you took the time to look at every combination and every
option of bar stools, tables, or chairs we have to offer it would take
you the better part of a week. Our professionals are ready to help you
narrow down your selection based on your needs.
